Edward G. Price
Edward Price is the founding partner of Price Law, LLC and has experience as a well-rounded business lawyer and advisor, both in private practice and as general counsel at a private company.
Mr. Price’s areas of practice include corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, intellectual property and technology transactions and counseling, domestic and international business transactions (including business formation, joint ventures, distribution agreements and secured transactions) and business disputes. His experience spans a variety of business sizes and types, with companies that range from startups to multi-million dollar companies doing business in a wide range of industries including real estate, technology, government contracting, and retail services.
Prior to Mr. Price’s return to private practice in 2009, he served as general counsel of Triton Middle East, LLC, a U.S. based real estate developer with projects located in Doha, Qatar as well as Abu Dhabi and Dubai. As general counsel, Mr. Price oversaw the company’s worldwide legal and regulatory affairs including acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, commercial transactions, employment and labor matters, and management of global outside counsel. Since his return to private practice, Mr. Price has continued to serve as outsourced in-house counsel for several companies.
Prior to joining Triton, Mr. Price was in private practice at a boutique real estate and construction law firm in Baltimore, Maryland. During this time, Mr. Price represented Maryland businesses and individuals with a variety of legal issues including:
- Acquisition of a prominent restaurant in downtown Baltimore
- Acquisition of a 500+ unit apartment complex in Towson, Maryland
- Acquisition of a 300+ unit apartment complex in Annapolis, Maryland
- Assisted homeowners in a construction defect disputes with developers
- Trademark registration for national sports developmental league
- Estate planning for high net worth individuals
Mr. Price strives to provide all services on a flat fee or other value-oriented basis, both for ongoing monthly general counsel based services and on a transaction or project basis for non-recurring business transactions.
